The Davidoff Real Especiales "7" are back!

DAVIDOFF ROBUSTO REAL ESPECIALES "7" LIMITED EDITION 2019, SHIPPING NEXT MONTH

In 2004, Davidoff has released two limited editions, one of them entitled Especiales " 7 " Robusto Real. The "7" refers to the number of tobaccos: one cape, one sous-cape and five tripe. The concept is now back for a 2019 re-edition.   The first Especiales "7" were based on a blend of tobaccos widely used in the Millenium Blend, although some of these tobaccos were eight years old at the time. Now, Especiales "7" return with a blend of tobaccos found in the Aniversario, Gran Cru, Signature and Millenium brands. At the most basic level, the tobaccos have their origins. The wrapper comes from Ecuador, the binder is a Dominican leaf and the five tripe are all from the Dominican Republic:

• Olor Seco
• Piloto Seco
• Piloto Viso
• San Vicente Ligero
• San Vicente Viso

Like the original, it will be offered in a 5 1/2 x 48 format, but with an updated wrapper. Pricing is set at 28.50 USD per cigar and only 4,000 boxes of 10 cigars will be offered in the United States. In addition, Global Travel Retail stores will receive four packages. "In 2004, challenged by the status quo, the exceptional and innovative blends of our Davidoff master blenders made possible a cigar experience so unique and complex that it is now available again in very limited quantities as a vintage blend," said Edward Simon. Marketing Director at Oettinger Davidoff AG, in a press release. "They have successfully blended tobaccos from Ecuador and six different regions of the Dominican Republic to create a complex yet silky aromatic experience. A feat deemed impossible by experts at the time. " Davidoff's limited edition 2019 Robusto Real Especiales "7" will be available next month.
