Story by E. P. Carrillo
The story of E. P. Carrillo cigars unfolds against a backdrop of tradition and cultural transition, with origins rooted in Cuba. After the Cuban revolution, the Perez-Carrillo family moved to the United States, where they mastered the art of cigar making.
Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, the brand's emblematic figure, raised La Gloria Cubana to a prestigious level during the 1990s. At the end of the decade, the brand was acquired by a multinational.
Back to the roots
In 2009, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, inspired by his children Lissette and Ernesto III, decided to return to the roots of cigar making at their Dominican Republic company, "La Tabacalera Alianza". This gave rise to a variety of blends that have been very well received.
Each E. P. Carrillo series reflects a particular philosophy and history, translated into a specific range of cigars.
